2022
~ WARNER BROTHERS “THE COLOR PURPLE” Privateer
Media signed with Warner Brothers to provide marine consulting and production services for the new Spielberg/Winfery production of “The Color Purple”, a musical remake of the 1985 Academy Award winning film based on the best seller of the
same title by Pulitzer Prize winning author Alice Walker.
Filming was done on Jekyll Island, GA in the spring of 2022.


2019
~ NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC “BARKSKINS” Privateer
Media signed with FOX21/NATGEO to provide historical
watercraft and production services for Season One of the
upcoming television series “Barkskins”. The
series is based on the 2016 New York Times best seller of the
same title by Pulitzer Prize winning author Annie Proulx.
Filming was done north of Quebec City, Canada through the summer and
fall of 2019.


2018
~ NBC UNIVERSAL PICTURES “HARRIET” Privateer
Media signed with NBC/UNIVERSAL to provide historical
watercraft and marine services for the feature “Harriet”
filmed outside Richmond, VA in the fall of 2018.


2018
~ DCNR 6-POUNDER ARTILLERY PROJECT Privateer
Media completed construction of a full-scale Revolutionary
War 6-pounder cannon for Pennsylvania's Department of
Conservation and Natural Resources / Washington Crossing
Historic Park.


2017
~ LIBATION.TV Privateer
Media begins pre-production work on a new channel focusing on
the craft beverage industry and the history of beer, wine &
spirits.

~ THE GALLOPER PROJECT PART 2 Privateer
Media starts construction of a working full-scale 18th
century French 'limoniere" artillery carriage. This is
the second galloper carriage that Privateer Media is
producing as part of an upcoming book on 18th century
galloper artillery pieces.

~ DCNR / WASHINGTON CROSSING HISTORIC PARK: THE DURHAM
BOATS Privateer
Media provides ongoing contract work to maintain the fleet of
Durham Boats at Washington Crossing Historic Park, PA.

~ FOX NEWS CHANNEL: "LEGENDS & LIES -
PATRIOTS" Signed
with Warm Springs Productions to provide marine services for
Season 2 of the Fox News Channel series hosted by Bill
O'Reilly, based on his book.

~ FOX TELEVISION: "SLEEPY HOLLOW" Signed
with 21st Century Fox Television to provide marine services
for Season 3 of the FOX hit television series "Sleepy
Hollow".


2015
~ TRAVEL CHANNEL: "FOLLOW YOUR PAST" Signed
with Lion Television to provide marine and armoury services
for the new Travel Channel series "Follow Your Past".
Hosted by acclaimed journalist and author Alison Stewart,
episodes premiered in March of 2016.


2015
~ DURHAM BOAT RESTORATION Completed
a three month restoration of the 42' replica Durham Boat
"LIBERTY" at Washington Crossing Park in
Pennsylvania. Made famous for its place in the iconic
"Washington Crossing the Delaware" attack, this
historic wooden boat is now the only Durham Boat available
for production work.


2015
~ AMC TELEVISION: "TURN: WASHINGTON'S SPIES"
Wrapped
our second season working as the marine coordinator for the
AMC television series "TURN: Washington's Spies."
In addition to the standard longboat work, restored a
functioning full-scale replica of David Bushnell's submarine
"TURTLE" and conducted sea trials in December of
2014. Filmed water and green screen work the following month.



2015
~ SPORTS ILLUSTRATED SWIMSUIT ISSUE Privateer
Media lent its expertise to the inside front cover 6-page
foldout of the 2015 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue with
the Dodge Trucks national ad campaign.


2014
~ THE GALLOPER PROJECT PART 1 Privateer
Media completes construction of a working full-scale 18th
century English galloper carriage. The gun was proofed during
live-fire testing using both canister rounds and solid shot
cannon balls. Built as part of a current book project, it's
the first of two period galloper style carriages being
constructed by Privateer Media. A French version is scheduled
to be built next.
